Summn does not organize, supervise, verify, or guarantee activities created by users.

3.3 Meeting Other Users

Summn enables users to connect with people they may not know personally.

You are responsible for using your own judgment and taking appropriate precautions when interacting with other users, including meeting offline.

Summn does not conduct background checks on users and cannot guarantee the identity, behavior, safety, or reliability of other users.

4. Location-Based Features

Summn uses location-based features to help users discover relevant activities nearby.

Depending on your permissions, Summn may use location information to:

  • Show nearby activities
  • Recommend relevant activities
  • Send location-based notifications
  • Improve the functionality of the App

You control location permissions through your device settings.

Disabling location access may affect certain App features.

8. Service Availability and Changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee that Summn will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

  • Add or remove functionality.
  • Temporarily suspend services for maintenance or security reasons.

9. Disclaimers

Summn provides a platform for users to connect. We do not:

  • Organize user activities.
  • Guarantee attendance at activities.
  • Verify users’ identities.
  • Guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of user-created activities.
  • Guarantee that interactions between users will be positive or successful.

Users participate in activities and interact with others at their own discretion and responsibility.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Summn shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Your use of the App.
  • Your interactions with other users.
  • User-created activities.
  • Service interruptions.
  • Loss of data or unauthorized access.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Swiss law.

11. Privacy

Your use of Summn is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Summn shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Switzerland, unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise.
